“Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs... since the payment is pure love.”
-Mildred B. Vermont
Moms have one of the toughest jobs in the world. If you add that to the fact that 72% of moms with children over 1 year old and 55% with children under 1 have a job outside the home, it is no wonder that moms are constantly on the run, never finding time for a break.
As a result we often tend to find ourselves neglecting our own physical, spiritual, and emotional health. How great would it be to build a community of mothers that share the same desire to walk closer with the Lord and become a better wife and mother? If only we could find a place where moms could pray for our families and also share together in a bond that only motherhood can bring. Well, here at Saluda Street Church of God we have just the group for you.
Kit Kat (Keeping It Together, Kids Are Tough) is a small group that is designed for mothers of all ages. We meet one Sunday night a month in the Family Life Center on the church campus and share parenting tips and resources, pray for one anther, and extend a shoulder to cry on when things get tough.
We would love to have you join us. If you have any questions or would like more information, you can email me at firstlady143@gmail.com or just show up at one of our meetings.
Remember, you DESERVE a break!
