To give first-time attenders a little more information regarding our services, we have provided descriptions of many frequently asked questions to assist you. Generally, our services are characterized by relative messages of hope, passionate blended worship, and friendly interaction with one another and our guests. After you get a taste for our church by our website, please come see us live them out as we gather together to praise and worship God.

This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We have live and upbeat music with guitars, drums, piano, and organ. Our worship crosses generational lines as we blend older traditional music with heartfelt and intimate contemporary songs of worship. Everyone worships in their own unique way – for many, that means singing & clapping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable

Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives the Saluda Street Church of God the means to reach more people with the gospel message.

Every service, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. Because we live in a visual world, often times the sermon will be accompanied by visual aids as well as several powerpoint slides that will make the Word of God come to life. It is our hope that the messages will inspire and challenge you, help you develop a vibrant relationship with Jesus and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.

No matter what your preferred dress style is for church, you will feel comfortable at the Saluda Street Church of God. We have men that dress in casual wear and jeans, to those that prefer to wear a suit and tie to church. The same is true for the women. At Saluda Street, we are more interested in you, than how you dress. So decide what is more comfortable for you, and no matter how you dress, you will find others that are dressed like you.

Saluda Street Church of God is made up of some of the most caring and loving Christians you will find. You will find us to be a friendly church and one that will "build you up" in the faith. We offer a variety of small groups that meet at different times during the month such as softball team, Women's Ministries, KIT KAT (Keeping It Together "cause" Kids Are Tough), Young At Heart, Inbetweeners, and many others.
